Update: Nintendo has announced that Game Boy and Game Boy Advance games are now available to Nintendo Switch Online and Expansion Pack tier subscribers respectively. We've updated the lists below with the available and upcoming titles.

If you're looking for the best Switch games regardless of genre, our reader-voted selection of the Best Nintendo Switch Games should help you out, and you can also find the Best Nintendo Switch Games of 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021. And finally, if you're interested in other Nintendo consoles and retro games, check out the Best Game Boy Games, Best GBC Games, Best GBA Games, Best Nintendo DS Games, Best Nintendo 3DS Games, Best NES Games, Best SNES Games, Best N64 Games, Best GameCube Games, and Best Wii Games, and Best Wii U Games, as well as Every Available Nintendo Switch Online Retro Game, and ranked lists of Every Nintendo Switch Online NES, SNES, N64 and Sega Genesis / Mega Drive Game.

I would have purchased the good snes games, like I did on 3ds and Wii. I should be allowed to play these games I bought twice already on switch. When I feel like Nintendo is stealing off me, I have no qualms with playing backups of games I own, on a hacked mini console. No online subscription required.

It's great to see these collections grow over time with some great titles available. There are a few shortcomings like many titles still being unavailable that would be great additions. And hopefully someday the ability to buy to own certain titles or collections. It would be cool if, but I doubt Nintendo ever would release a cartridge of the entire service or individual console compilations as they are at some point. Could you imagine say the Super Nintendo Collection getting a physical release and having games like Earthbound on a Switch cartridge I'll dream.

Here is a detailed list of every Super Nintendo game ever produced for the Super NES. The Super Nintendo console was one of the most popular game systems of all time. Super Nintendo games were produced by hundreds of SNES game developers. For a list of Sega Genesis games, check out this list of every Sega Genesis game ever made.

The Super Nintendo games featured state of the art for the time 16 bit graphics and were constantly pushing the limit of what could be done in games. Star Fox and Super Mario World were two of the Super Nintendo Entertainment System's biggest hits. Feel free to use these list items to start a list of your favorite Super Nintendo games.

It's no surprise UK pre-orders for the SNES Classic sold out within a day of its announcement back in June. Officially titled the Nintendo Classic Mini: Super Nintendo Entertainment System, the retro design and nostalgic list of games meant everyone wanted one and there's not long to wait until its release.

The US, Australian and European editions of the SNES Classic will have the same list of games. However, the Japanese edition of the console has a different line-up of games from its US and European cousins.

The PAL units (Europe/Australia/New Zealand) will be running the US 60Hz versions, rather than their original 50Hz versions. Back in the 90's, PAL consoles ran at 50Hz, rather than the 60Hz used by North America and Japan. This means PAL consoles ran slower than their North American and Japanese counterparts. With the SNES Classic running at 60Hz, the games will be running at full optimisation and maximum speed.

As with the Switch's NES game library, these SNES games will support online play for select titles and will feature rewind functionality for getting a do-over during those difficult boss fights. If you want the full SNES experience, you'll be able to buy a wireless replica of the classic Super Nintendo controller for $29.99 as long as you're a Switch Online member (Nintendo hasn't given a release date). That's pretty nifty, but you're probably just as well off with 8BitDo's excellent retro gamepads.

According to Nintendo Life, a data miner has dug up a list on SNES games
