in 1983 gwen guthrie began to record with her friend arik roper (also known as radics, after the children's tv series he created with his partner barbara mccrindle, who was featured on this album). a couple of years later, the first of their collaborations were released on the single "obsession" by cristina featuring french singer jacques veneruso. in 1986 they released "dance sucker" on set the tone. these two are the most famous tracks released during their collaboration.
